I’m going to start a series of restaurant recommendations for all the places that I go and love! First up is our neighborhood bar in the Hilldale area of Madison, WI.
This is a great late night place in Hilldale that also has fantastic brunch. My fiancé and I go here for drinks after he gets off work. The bartenders are awesome! It has become like our Cheers bar since moving to Madison. Their kitchen is also open late so we can get food like muscles, poutine, cheese dishes or burgers. My favorite brunch dish is the pretzel breakfast sandwich. The garlic aioli sauce is fire. There are at least 5 Bloody Mary options as well with various flavors and accoutrements. Although the place is massive, they do get really busy and go on a wait. I’d suggest shooting for some spots at the bar.
