I just moved to Raleigh with my husband last month. We are so stoked to explore the restaurant scene in our new city.
Bartaco
Bartaco is the reason for our move to Raleigh because my husband is the new GM. The tacos are always incredible. My favorites are oyster, pork belly and duck. If you do save room for dessert, the churros and key lime pie are delicious.

La Santa
A cool Mexican restaurant in Glenwood. The tacos are street taco style with fun flavors. I enjoyed the queso as well! My cocktail was a fun tiki version of a margarita.

Stir – North Hills
This has become our favorite neighborhood spot. There are so many cocktail and wine options. Also so happy to have a spot for oysters so close to our apartment.

Cowfish – North Hills
This is a burger and sushi bar in our neighborhood. There is even burgushi that combines both. I love the crab Rangoon dip that is like a deconstructed wonton. The Bento box option gives you a little bit of everything. Stoked about the Wasabi Yuzu Tequila-Tini which has such a unique intriguing flavor.

Coquette – North Hills
A super cute French restaurant in our neighborhood. They have escargots! And the French Onion soup is perfection.

barcelona
I have missed living in a city with barcelona. This used to be our date night spot in Nashville. Wine and tapas! They have an amazing sangria called Guns and Rosés that I love. Favorites dishes in this meal included squid fideos, pork loin, chicken thighs, calamari.

Aunty Betty’s
This is such a vibe-y gin and absinthe bar hidden in the corner of Morgan Street Food Hall. The space has a ton of cool artwork in it and inventive cocktail options.

Watts & Ward
Another super cool vibe-y cocktail but this one is more hidden library vibe. The furniture alone in this place is beautiful.

Brewery Bhavana
A lovely gem with a beautiful aesthetic. I have only had cocktail so far but am excited to go back for dinner soon.

Cortez
This is a seafood and small plate spots with oysters! The octopus is one of the best versions I have ever had!

So thankful for our first month in Raleigh and can’t wait to keep exploring.
