My brother and I celebrated my mom’s 60th birthday in Chicago with a progressive dinner at three rooftop restaurants. She loves good food and good vibes and we delivered on that. I planned all the restaurants without her knowing anything about what the evening held.

RAISED An Urban Rooftop Bar

This spot is absolutely beautiful. We got a couple cocktails and appetizers. It’s right on the river and absolutely gorgeous.

RPM Seafood

This was our main meal. The seafood was delightful! Our server was amazing. He recommended a dish we wouldn’t have gotten which was incredible and brought out a fun dessert with a candle for the bday celebration. Upstairs at The Gwen

Our third rooftop of the night. We got some burrata and cocktails. It is a few blocks from the river so not quite as great of views as our first two stops. The Gwen Hotel had a swanky interior that was great for some pics.
